Born and raised in Los Angeles, Patty made her way onto the LA music scene as a solo artist, playing coffee houses and small clubs, and then continued developing her writing style while recording and performing with band members in some of the larger clubs, the Whiskey, Roxy and House of Blues, to name a few.

"I love playing the larger venues with great sound systems but I have to admit the more intimate settings are my favorite", Patty says. "I have a penchant for storytelling. I've spent much of my life surrounded by actors, writers, musicians, and fine artists. I'm influenced by many of the singer-songwriters of the early 70s. I like writing songs that allow for cathartic experiences and I find that my audience has a yearning to be moved by music in that way as well.

Patty's debut release, Happy Hours and Heartaches, gained exposure on National Public Radio's Marketplace, was featured on a number of major network television shows and garnered a spot for her single Still Life on the international release of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Radio Sunnydale television soundtrack.
